FAQ's

Do I have to teach?

We want every mom to be involved in the co-op! We ask that each mom sign up for helping to set up, clean up, or monitor lunch break three to four times a month. If you don't want to lead teach a class, you are able to help out by assisting in classes and the nursery.

How much do the classes cost?

We will be charging a fee per student per class to cover copies and other class expenses.

Can I just drop off my child for one class a week?

The co-op classes will be filled first with families who want to participate in three or more classes on each day that the co-op meets. We are striving for a co-op where the kids all know each other, and the moms can all support each other also. We will have tutoring labs available if your child doesn't fit in a class offered at that time.

What about my younger kids?

We will also have classes for elementary aged students if their mother is involved in teaching in the co-op and a nursery for our little ones.

Anything besides academics involved?

The co-op will also have social events planned at least once a month. Things like game nights, ice skating, or rock climbing. Middle school and high school are important times in our kids’ social growth, and we want to provide time outside of the classes for them to get together and have fun.

How do I sign up?

Talk to us and find out if you think this co-op is a good fit for your family. Think about where you could help out with teaching.

We will be having an orientation session in the summer to provide the details for each class and to finish filling out any registration materials. Each mom involved in the co-op will be required to have a security check by the church
